Is this Chapter 1?
I said I would never do this. Here goes.......
A certain friend (I'll call her Becky), comes over to eat my cooking. As I cleaned out the fridge this morning, I noticed a container of uneaten scrawberries that went with the pound cake I made. My mind began to wander. You know, like how Stefono is connected to everyone on Days of Our Lives. Anyway, I tumped the berries out but SAVED the plastic container with the lid because:
a) I learned it from my Grandmother Brasher. She saved everything.
b) I can store leftovers in it.
c) reduce, reuse, recycle, right?
As I was saying, I was in deep thought. What if my almost 3 year old wanted to use that container and one of my good spoons to dig to Hell? What? You've never tried to do that?
As a small child, I stayed at Irene and Sambo's house. "Ene" would give us a spoon and some sort of plastic bowl and we would dig under an old tree. ALL. DAY. LONG. And, most days, we would try to dig to Hell. Nothing wrong with that. We knew there was one. When we acted like fools and Ene got after us with her houseshoe, I pretty much figured digging to Hell was a good idea.
You know, those were great memories.

Jacey 2, Jim 1
Who is this man hugging my first born? Looks like he is putting DEER BLOOD on her sweet, little, angelic, face........... It's Papa Jake, Jacey's Step Grandfather. Whatever. He loves her so.
And, this terrible mess is poor bambi with Jacey and her daddy, Jason. Um, Jason, don't you think Jacey looks sleepy. Must you make her hunt for her food? Just feed her Sonic from now on, ok? Jacey, honey, you don't look sad either. Max Brasher taught you well.
I could almost swear theY look alike. Nature? nurture?
I could not get this picture bigger. This is sweet, fun, ANNA! This is Jacey's super-cool other mother who actually goes hunting with her! The one who will drag a deer out of the woods with her. Well, so! I know how to cook chocolate and biscuits. (Hee Hee) NO CONTEST

IT'S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR?
Well, When the "Mouse King" isn't chasing after after Lilli and Jim and I aren't on taxi mode for Jacey, it really is the most wonderful time of the year.............isn't it?
You decide:
Jim knows where ALL the "good" crafts are at Wal-Mart. One night after a what was to be a good joke, he actually returned with everything on the list.
Lilli had me on a wild chase for "Run, Run Rudolph" after she heard it once on the Radio. We found it and now it's ALL we listen to!
Jacey is busy, busy, busy. We went to see Wizard of Oz last week and had the most fun. This child can stay out all night and loves to go, go, go!
And, for the finale, a conversation I had with my hubby, who is evidently full of Christmas spirtit:
Jim: Hey, Did I tell you about those kids I overheard in the dentist's office? Something about this elf they have that just shows up all the time.
Allyson: Oh yeah, that's the "Elf on the Shelf" and you can buy them, kinda like a "you better be good" thing.
Jim: huh?
Allyson: You know, the elf watches you, reports to Santa, just pops up everywhere and all.
Jim: What do you mean, "pops up"................how?
Allyson: It's the most wonderful time of the year, isn't it?????

Indians and Programs
Me: Lilli, tell me about your program at Mrs. Lee and Mrs. Lori's.
Lilli: I sing Jesus Loves the Little Children (she sings the WHOLE song)
Me: I can't wait to come and see it! What else will you do?
Lilli: THE STAGE!
Me: And, you get to be an indian, too?
Lilli: John David wants to be a "program"
Me: what?
Lilli: He wants to be a program. Girls are indians and boys are programs.
ME: HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HA HA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
